FAQ

We're glad you asked.

Do you pickup on Holidays?

Adams Sanitation observes the following Holidays (our drivers like to spend time with their families too!):

New Year's Day

Memorial Day

Independance Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day

We appreciate your understanding and assure you we will collect all of your holiday leftovers on the next regularly scheduled pick-up day.

Where can I pay my bill?

you can pay your bill in person, Monday-Thursday 8:00-12:00 in person at 5750 Hwy 4, Baker, FL.

if our office is closed you can use our drop box located beside our front door at the office.

When is my bill due?

we bill monthly in advance. Bills are generated  on the 15th and are due on the 1st of each month.  Payments not received by the 15th of the month in which they are due will incur a late fee.  Cans will be collected on accounts that are more than 20 days overdue and may be subject to a can collection and delivery fee to restart service.

we collect household trash only.  Our drivers currently pick up everything by hand, so PLEASE make sure your trash is bagged and that your bags are tied.  Break large boxes down flat and put them beside your trash can (no need to bag these.) Small bulk items weighing 25 pounds or less can be placed beside the can for pick-up.

We are not permitted to pick-up Hazardous Waste as defined by Okaloosa County, that includes needles and other red-bagged medical waste.  Arrangements can be  made for the disposal of hazardous waste by contacting Okaloosa County at 850-609-6168. More information is available on the County's website at www.MyOkaloosa.com.
